Student Accounts

Student Health Insurance

Full-time students* are billed for a nominal health insurance policy, PLAN A, for the full academic year.

* Study Abroad students and Allied Health students (part-time and full-time) are billed for Plan B insurance which provides additional coverage including repatriation and medical evacuation benefits.

Students may choose to DECLINE the insurance by completing an ONLINE waiver form by signing into WebAdvisor, see “FT-Decline/Upgrade Health In.” https://my.champlain.edu/portal/main.html?/dashboard/dashboard.html

Health insurance is not offered to part-time students unless enrolled in an Allied Health major.

Students may also UPGRADE from PLAN A to PLAN B by completing the ONLINE UPGRADE form at the same website linked through WebAdvisor.

Please review the policy booklet carefully which is included with the fall billing statement mailed June 28th to ensure you choose which plan most appropriately meets your coverage needs.
