Jean French

Jean French is native of Boston, Massachusetts but is currently a resident of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she teaches undergraduate computer science courses. Before transitioning to a full-time academic career, she served as a university Web Manager, WebCT Administrator and PHP programmer. She has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in both the business (MIS) and computer science fields.

Jean earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geosciences from Boston College in 1991 and an MBA with a concentration in Management of Computer Information Systems in 2000 from the University of Massachusetts / Boston. 

She is currently attending Nova Southeastern University where she earned a Graduate Certificate in Information Assurance: Administration in Information Security and is in the dissertation process to earn a PhD in Computer Information Systems.
