- After August 14, 2009, there will be no refunds for cancellations or no-shows of any kind.
- When canceling, please provide written notification via email, including all attendee names, to graham@champlain.edu
- Refunds will be issued in the same form in which fees were paid.
Attendance Policy
Attendance is monitored and we strongly encourage students to attend all sessions. Students who exceed two in-class absences or fail to participate in two online discussion group postings will not be issued a Certificate of Completion. In-class “make up” days may be offered for a limited time based on the available class schedule. Students who must miss a session are asked to notify the Coordinator, Bridgette Graham, ahead of time as some activities will depend on the number of participants.
Online Curriculum
We use the on-line learning management system, Moodle as an additional resource for our program. Students will have individual access to this site, with electronic versions of class handouts, presentations, and reading materials. Dialoguing in online forums about topics relevant to each class is a completion requirement of the Certificate in Nonprofit Management (as stated above.) Specific training on how to use Moodle will be reviewed during the first workshop.
