About the Division of Continuing Professional Studies
Since 1878 Champlain College has provided career-focused education to students from its hilltop campus in Burlington, Vermont. In 1993 the College pioneered online education by offering its first online courses and has quickly grown to offer 100s of online courses each semester as well as over 25 degree and certificate programs, 100% online in seven- eight- and 15-week sessions.
Champlain’s Division of Continuing Professional Studies gives you the “best of both worlds” -- the traditions of a “bricks and mortar” college campus, and the innovations of degrees designed and delivered for working adults. Our practitioner faculty and experienced staff recognize the unique challenges and responsibilities adult students face. We offer the counseling and advising necessary to help you succeed, from your first inquiry through to graduation.
In recognition of our expertise as a provider of online degree programs, the Online Education Database recently ranked Champlain College third nationwide among colleges and universities offering online programs.
