We were thrilled to officially introduce to the Champlain community and the public the BYOBiz Inaugural Class at the Cornerstone Awards ceremony November 13 in Champlain’s IDX Student Life Center.
A crowd gathered to hear remarks by Champlain College President Dave Finney and us. Each of our inaugural members—Pete Bruhn and Pete Jewett of GoTradingPost.com, Ben Haulenbeek of Ben Haulenbeek Photography, Jason Nikel of Third Shift Clothing, Ben Kaufman of Mophie, Inc. and Justine Macris of Crash Technologies—received a true cornerstone: a block of North Barre (Vermont) granite engraved with the name of their business.
Keep in mind that Champlain’s Early Decision II deadline is fast approaching. To be considered for the second round of early decision admission, you must submit your application by January 15. You should submit your BYOBiz application at the same time.
If you’ve decided to apply regular decision to Champlain, your deadline date is January 31; you will be notified by March 25.
